Elderhaus offers many services that are often needed by adults with
special needs:
- MHS (Mobile Health Services): Elderhaus reaches out to
Larimer County residents in convenient site visits. Free
blood-pressure clinics, free bone-density tests (in partnership with
The Aspen Club of Poudre Valley Hospital), free glaucoma checks (in
partnership with Advanced Eye Care), and flu/pneumonia shot clinics
(in partnership with RVNA) are offered throughout the year.
- MBH (Medicaid Benefits Helper): The Medicaid Benefit Helper
reaches out to a special population: the low-income and homebound in
our community. Individuals are provided guidance in applying for
the benefits.
- QMAP (Qualified Medication Administration Personnel): Enables
staff to administer medications as prescribed by their health
professional.
- Direct Care: This is the "hands on" care that Elderhaus
provides to clients each day. Assistance is available with
activities of daily living such as bathroom use and eating.
