Adapting Life Together (ALT)
This unique service offering is due to a partnership between the
Elderhaus Recreation Center (ERC) and the Center for Neurorehabilitation
Services (CNS). Occupational therapists from CNS provide therapy
services to ALT participants at ERC on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9AM to
1PM. The therapy is provided through involvement within regularly
scheduled activities at the center. Only eight participants are invited
into the ALT program at a time. In addition to specific work with
participants, the Occupational Therapists collaborate with Elderhaus
staff to ensure the suggestions/recommendations are consistently
followed through.
